Manufactured from high purity Copper to BSEN 1978 (Cu Cathode I). 99.96% minimum guaranteed.
Confirmed by Test Certificate.
Radiography
In accordance with minimum defect classification as laid down in Table 1 ASTM E-272-91, all grades within 1 - 3.
Conductivity

Tuyeres - 80% IACS
Tuyere Coolers - 80% IACS
Plate Coolers - 55 - 70% IACS
Stave Coolers - 80% IACS minimum guaranteed.
Manufacture
All our copper castings are manufactured on site to stringent specifications incorporating quality assurance programmes.
Tests
All castings are pressure tested within a full range of 7-15 atmosphere pneumatic in water, held for 10 minutes.
